Position: Accountant

Job Description:
Receive and control cash under the direct supervision of Controller. Act as primary contact for bank personnel below vice president level. Perform specific duties involving cash receipts & deposits; balancing & reconciliation; bookkeeping; payroll; fund investor documents along with investor accounting inquiries; and tax accounting on associated companies. Set up an accounting system that retains all information necessary to establish, monitor, receive, disburse & control various types of payments. Implement general accounting system for keeping accounts & records of disbursements, expenses, tax payments and general ledgers. Prepares financial statements and summaries reflecting Company Fund’s and related companies’ assets, liabilities and capital. Perform audits and prepare reports. Review company accounting systems to determine their efficiency and protective value. Prepare reports of findings and recommendations for company management. Candidate needs a minimum of 2-years experience and a BS in Accounting.

Salary: $35.00/hr
