Who We Are

For nearly half a century, California Mortgage and Realty, Inc. has successfully served the financing needs of the real estate community by arranging short-term real estate loans funded by the lending capital of the company and our private investment clients. In so doing, we have provided our investment clients with well-secured loan investment opportunities that have generated an enviable track record over the years of safety and consistently high yields. The firm and its principals have successfully underwritten and refinanced more than $800 million in real estate mortgage loans during the past 10 years.

California Mortgage and Realty's proven management team of experienced real estate and mortgage professionals has substantial real estate and mortgage investment holdings and over $450 million in assets under management. Included in these assets under management are approximately $300 million in commercial mortgage loans originated on behalf of our investment clients. Founded in 1958, CMR operates from its company-owned headquarters building in downtown San Francisco. (The principals and staff know and understand California's commercial and residential real estate markets because we live and work in the state.)
